Spay and Neuter Fund for Cats
Kira’s Fund was established in memory of Kira Serisky, a beloved teen foster parent to some of our most vulnerable kittens. Kira suffered from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and despite facing her own health challenges, she was a force in the fostering community.
Kira’s legacy of love and caring for cats continues today through Kira’s Fund, which offers financial assistance to local families who are unable to afford to spay or neuter their cats through HSCC’s Community Pet Clinic (CPC). While the CPC offers reduced spay/neuter fees, some families cannot fully afford the services. Kira’s Fund helps to remove the financial barrier and subsequently helps reduce the number of homeless kittens in our community.
