A Match Made at HSCC

Steel, now known as Mazzy, arrived at HSCC in March 2024 via Burlington Animal Control, and she hung around for a while our medical team treated her for heartworm. Our amazing Animal & Customer Care Associate Kelley fostered Mazzy during her recovery, and they soon realized they were meant to be best friends! In July 2024, Mazzy celebrated the completion of her heartworm treatment and the official start of a new chapter with her new best friend. Mazzy is such a resilient girl and she truly couldn't have found a more caring, devoted human - congratulations to Kelley & Mazzy!
