I adopted Chicken (Izzy at the time) in August 2017 when she was 10 years old, and we just celebrated her Sweet 16 together!!! I could’ve never foreseen how close we have gotten in that time, especially since she was a bit standoffish at first. She still loves to yell and chat with anyone who will listen even though she’s been completely deaf for over a year. Everyone gets a kick out of her grumpy face even though she’s a total love bug. Thank you for everything y’all do, and thank you for helping me find my best friend!
